We are a nonprofit that focuses on the CAN rather than the CAN’T . We walk with people
through some of their hardest days, not because it’s easy—but because we can. And because every small step forward matters.
In the Trenches:
- What We Really Do What sets us apart is the work that happens outside of programs and business hours—the unseen, sometimes messy human moments that make all the difference, the unseen work is where our mission truly comes alive:
- Creating custom plans around the long haul of the recovery process after a brain injury
- Helping a neurodivergent client engage through a shared love of Magic: The Gathering
- Consulting, advocating and holding hands of individuals that are walking in the shoes of having a loved one experience some of the unknowns due to a brain injury. All led with the passion and inspiration from our founder, Josh Morros
- Building portfolios, placing phone calls, filling out forms, and cheering people
on—every step of the way We’re not just coaches—we’re case managers, tutors, advocates, and sometimes even family.
Our Approach
We keep it simple and personal:
1. Tell them – Clear instructions and honest guidance
2. Show them – Hands-on support and modeling
3. Do it with them – Walking side-by-side until they’re ready to lead We honor the uniqueness of each individual, meeting them where they are, and helping them move forward—one breakthrough at a time.
“Keep going one step forward, because you never know when the breakthrough will
come.”
— Josh Morros
